It's getting cooler. I didn’t have to do my job today, so I stayed at home. I’m very thankful to whoever at TOURAI arranged this home for me. It is very comfortable.

Since “last week”, a visitor has been sitting outside of my front door and “meowing”. It's a creature different from a human. It is much smaller, and has fur and pointy ears. It creates a sound that is very hard to ignore.

I began to feel the same strange feeling I had felt towards San’s story as I heard it “meow” outside. The creature looked very hungry. I let it into my home, and I fed it some food from my “refrigerator”. A “refrigerator” is a box that is used to store food at a low temperature. It contains a “heat pump” that transfers heat from the inside to the external environment to keep it cool. The creature looked satisfied. It sat on my lap and it started making a strange sound, like a “car engine”. We fell asleep together, and when I woke up, the creature was gone.

Learning about humans is interesting, but so is learning about other creatures.
